2-4pm Science South 105C
1 sysadmin. 500 systems. How?
Thanks to sysadmins, us users can browse the web and send/receive emails without a hassle. They make sure systems and services are up and running. But, as we know, computers go bad from time to time.
To maintain a level of service to the users, sysadmins has various tools in their belt. Among these tools, monitoring tools allow them to monitor systems and services. In some cases, monitoring tools can give sysadmins first signs of trouble, allowing the issue to be dealt with before it becomes a real issue.
Nagios is one of these monitoring tools.
Come to our free LUG meeting to find out more.
Shohei Azuma from Kikkoman IT will talk about Nagios.
Not a Linux user? Not a problem.
Not a CS major? Not a problem.
